Figured maple coffee table with inset beach stones and hairpin legs

As I was working with the top of this table, the figuring in the maple reminded me of ripples in a tide pool. This inspired me to inset some stones I collected from the cobble beach that is a five minute walk from my childhood home. It reminds me of timeless childhood summers spent there.
